PENTAGRAM - Show'em How LP (Preorder)
NB! Preorder item, release January 24.
REMASTERED REISSUE of "Show 'Em How", the sixth album by legendary American doom metal band Pentagram, featuring brand new artwork.
This album featured Bobby Liebling on vocals backed up by Mike Smail (Cathedral, Penance - Drums), Adam Heinzmann (Internal Void, Bass), Kelly Carmichael (Internal Void, Guitars). Show 'Em How is one of Pentagram's stronger offerings, including their latest release Curious Volume and the First Daze Here vintage collection. It's a shame they didn't produce more albums with this line-up. Being the only remaining founding member, Bobby Lieblings's choice of musicians is consistently right on the mark and his performance here is top-notch. As far as his detractors are concerned, this record will surely "show 'em how".
Pentagram is one of America's oldest doom/stoner rock bands to date, officially forming in 1971 . Their early influences include bands like Blue Cheer, Frost, The Groundhogs, Stray and Sir Lord Baltimore, but their sound is very close to that of Black Sabbath. Pentagram released numerous singles in the 70's but didn't record their first full length album until 1985.
Originally released in 2004 by Italian label Black Widow Records.
