Ofermod is a name unknown to most today. In the past, anno 1998, the band released an infamous 7" ("Mysterion Tés Anomias", precisely). It contained merely two songs, but shattered the scene by pushing the spiritual boundaries of Black Metal into morbid depths. Bands such as Malign, Watain, Funeral Mist, Antaeus, Deathspell Omega... were marked forever by the insight of this band, and have been paying tribute to this major influence ever since.
